Our Verification Policy
Last updated October 2026
At Greater Oakland Local Spotlight, we believe a community directory is only as good as the trust behind it. In an era of AI-generated web spam, out-of-state lead-gen brokers, and corporate private-equity roll-ups, we go the extra mile to guarantee every spotlighted business is an authentic, independent local neighbor.
The Verified Partner Badge
